El Barrio del Toscal is a protected, historical neighborhood in Santa Cruz. The old houses, called “casas terreras,” belonged to the working class. El Barrio was recently featured in a Cuban-based movie because of its old, caribbean vibe. Many of the “terreras” houses are now being renovated by modern architects and Millennial business owners—thereby slowly converting the area into a younger, artsy-inclined neighborhood. El Toscal is located between the beautiful park García Sanabria, the Ramblas, and the Santa Cruz city center. Compared to other busier areas in the City Center, El Toscal is a really chill and quiet place.

What is the price and the minimun stay?
The Ático is designed for people who wish to remain on the island for a long period of time. The price is 85 EUR per night with all utilities included and also •a private parking spot• within the building. Discounts may apply for longer stays.
Is the house fully equiped?
Yes. The Ático has all the amenities an airbnb apartment would have, such as bedding, towels, bathroom supplies (hair-dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and gel) and basic cleaning supplies.

If you want to experience the full beauty of the island, we highly recommend you rent a car. You’ll have your private parking spot so do take advantage of that since there aren’t many here in the center! Having a car will allow you to visit all the breathtaking places Tenerife has.
